You Won't Believe it's Concrete!
First go to our concrete photo gallery.
That's right, it's concrete! Hard to believe isn't it. Some of the concrete in our pictures started out as an existing slab and we added color and cut a design. On others we added an overlay of a special mix of concrete. On still others we poured new and stamped in a texture then added color, or we can start with colored concrete, add texture and other colors to get the desired effect.
Keep in mind that Decorative Concrete is a work of art and it will be very ugly before it becomes beautiful, but it will become beautiful! Sometimes we can't predict exactly what the final effect will be, but it is always beautiful.
Decorative Concrete is very much like any other concrete. It can and probably will crack somewhere. If abused, it can be scarred, pitted, broken or spalled. So plan your use of Decorative Concrete wisely. With driveways it's hard to maintain the beautiful finish and therefore they should be re-sealed yearly and the use of ice melting chemicals should be kept to a minimum if not completely avoided.
Patios, interior floors and countertops are all excellent places to use Decorative Concrete.
