We Build Your Dreams
Parade Home 2000A new home south of Pentwater the we roughed in and the owner finished as his first big project after retirement.A home south of custer.A Maple Island Log Home that we did the preparation and "rough in" work, other than setting the logs. This is the same home after we did the deck, roof system with insulation, cut out the window openings, installed bucking and windows and framed the interior walls. This is an indoor wood fired BBQ. Take note of the hand made cedar stemware rack and the island that was fashoined out of an old bowling alley. This is a hand made log spiral stair case. In a log home that we builtDovetailed corners in a log home that we roughed in.The same home after we set the logs and roof framing. The next few pictures are of a Timber Frame Home that we built. This is the first "bent" being lifted into postition. After a few more bents.Roof timber being "flown in"This is one of the first "SIP" (structurally insulated panels) panel being flown in.Exterior walls are nearly complete. This picture was taken by Al on the crane's headache ball high above the roof. The installation is nearly complete and the crane will be leaving. The exterior is "dried in" and the brick work is beginning. The view of the rear before any brickwork.Front of the completed home. I chose to include several pictures of this house because it was so unique and I had a lot of good pictures to choose from. This was one of the "Elite Homes" that we built. This is more like what we've been doing lately. The next few picture are of a smaller very affordable ranch style home.As you can see we do work outside in the winter, it doesn't kill us.The home is nearing completion.Rear view. Note the Permanent Wood Foundation, no it won't rot or leak. Wouldn't it look good with a wrap around deck? We left that option open for later. The exterior of the basement can be coated to look like concrete or stucco. Here we are pouring concrete into ICF's or insulated concrete forms. The forms stay in place to inulate the foundation and provide a place to attach drywall.Finished with the pour.
This is only a sample of the types of homes we build. As you can see we do just about every kind of home that you can imagine. I will update with pictures of our hybrid home when we get it finished (trim and siding). We don't want to show any construction pictures of the hybrid because we don't want to give away any secrets.
