Al, the owner and founder of Greiner Construction, has found a way to build new homes that are both economical to build and own!
This new type of construction is a hybrid of two, more conventional types of construction, post frame and stick frame. The floors are done in decorative concrete and the heating system is right in the floor. The walls are thick and filled with some of the best insulation known to man. Other than that, it looks and feels just like any other house, only more comfortable! We have lived in this house for a few heating seasons and the propane consumption is right at 600 gallons per year. This also includes cooking and a propane grill that get's used often all year. The house covers 2300 square feet and has vaulted ceiling space in part of it and heated attic over the rest.Of course we will still design and build you any type of house you would like, with the good old fashioned quality and economy that got us where we are today! Check out our photo's and you'll see what we mean.Our line of new construction doesn't stop with just quality homes. We also build Garages, Pole Barns and much more. With our computer and software we can show you in three dimensions what your new project will look like before we even break ground. It's a great tool for spotting flaws in the design and correcting them inexpensively. Speaking of flaws, Marlene, my wife, is an expert at spotting them and finding practical solutions.
